The new S-ATA II standard defines a new connector type for external connections: eS-ATA, also known as I-Type connector
On the market still many external products are available with the classical S-ATA connector type (known as L-Type connector) that was originally implemented for internal use.
Our cables offer you the possibility to connect e.g. S-ATA external HDD cases (L-Type) to S-ATA controller with the new I-Type connector.
